Meta App Privacy Policy
This policy applies only to Frontend Accelerator's internal Meta publishing app. It is not a customer-facing product feature.
1. Scope and authorized users
This Meta app is an internal publishing tool used only by authorized Frontend Accelerator administrators to publish and manage organic content for Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts owned or controlled by Frontend Accelerator.
The app is not available to customers or the general public. It does not provide services to external Meta users and does not intentionally collect or process personal data belonging to followers, customers, or other members of the public.
Frontend Accelerator is operated by Frontend Accelerator ApS, which is responsible for the processing described in this policy.
2. Meta data we process
For this limited internal publishing workflow, we may process the following information:
- Basic profile and account identifiers needed to authenticate an authorized administrator.
- Facebook Page, Meta Business, and Instagram professional-account identifiers and names needed to select the correct publishing destination.
- Access tokens and related authentication information required to make authorized requests to Meta APIs.
- Captions, images, videos, publishing destinations, and other content intentionally submitted for publication.
- Resulting Facebook post or Instagram media identifiers, publishing status, timestamps, and technical information needed to confirm or troubleshoot publication.
We do not request or use pages_read_user_content as part of this workflow.
3. Meta permissions and their purpose
The app may request the following Meta permissions where required for the internal publishing workflow:
public_profileis used to identify the authorized administrator connecting the app.pages_show_listis used to identify Facebook Pages that the authorized administrator manages.pages_read_engagementis used to verify access to the selected Page and, where necessary, confirm information about content published by the app.pages_manage_postsis used to create, edit, or delete posts on Facebook Pages controlled by Frontend Accelerator when an authorized administrator instructs the app to do so.instagram_content_publishis used to create and publish supported content to connected Instagram professional accounts controlled by Frontend Accelerator.business_managementis used where necessary to identify and access Meta business assets associated with the authorized connection.
We use these permissions solely for the internal functionality described in this policy.
4. How we use Meta data
Meta data is used only to authenticate the internal connection, identify the intended Facebook Page or Instagram account, publish or manage content authorized by an administrator, confirm that the requested operation completed successfully, and maintain the security and reliability of the integration.
We do not use Meta data for advertising profiling, behavioral targeting, data brokerage, or unrelated analytics.
We do not sell Meta data.
5. Sharing of Meta data
We share information with Meta where necessary to perform the requested publishing operations.
Data may also be processed by service providers used to host, secure, monitor, or maintain the internal application, but only where necessary to provide those services and subject to appropriate safeguards.
We may disclose information where required by applicable law or a valid legal request.
6. Retention
Access tokens are retained only while the Meta connection remains active and are deleted, revoked, or replaced when access is disconnected or credentials are rotated.
Publishing identifiers, technical logs, and related operational information may be retained for a limited period where necessary for security, troubleshooting, auditing, or legal obligations.
We do not retain Meta data longer than reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
7. Revocation and data deletion
An authorized administrator can revoke the app's access at any time through the relevant Facebook, Instagram, or Meta Business settings.
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with this Meta app, contact support@frontendaccelerator.com with the subject “Meta Data Deletion Request”.
Please include sufficient information to identify the relevant connected account or integration. We will process the request within the period required by applicable law. Certain limited records may be retained where necessary to comply with legal, security, or accounting obligations.
8. Security
Access to Meta data is restricted to authorized administrators and systems that require it for the internal publishing workflow.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect authentication credentials and other information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the functionality of the Meta integration, the permissions it uses, or applicable legal requirements change. The date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last updated.
